Privacy Policy

The short version: this website doesn't track you, and we never sell your information. We only collect what you choose to send us.

Who we are

This policy explains how Cartesian Dataworks, LLC (“we”, “us”), a company based in Minnesota, handles information collected through this website, cartesiandataworks.com. It covers this website only. Our software products and services are governed by the agreements we sign with each customer.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message, plus your organization, role, and topic if you provide them.

Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical details when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These records are used to keep the site running and secure.

What we don't collect. We don't use analytics or advertising tools, tracking pixels, or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message and follow up on your inquiry.
  • To keep the website secure and working, including preventing spam and abuse.

We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell, rent, or trade your information.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our website host, an email delivery service that sends contact form messages to us, and Microsoft 365, where our email is stored. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, then delete them when they're no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us, and we'll respond promptly.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

Children

This website is for businesses and public organizations. It isn't directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be clearly noted.
